the materials we used in this machine are wheels, rods, pulley, string, and boards.this is a machine that drives and lifts things. the wheels move it and the pulley lifts things.

Blog 5 Simple Machines At Home (:
This is me and the blinds in my room. These blinds represent a pulley. They make work easier because it has a string that you pull down to switch the blinds to let light in or keep it out. better than not having anything on your window at all.
This is a light switch found in my bed room... on my wall. The simple machine this light switch is, is a lever. It makes work easier because its easier to turn a light on with a switch right by you instead of having to walk up to it and switch it.
This is me and a set of stairs at my house. The simple machine these stairs are, is an incline plane. The stairs make work easier because it is easier for poeple to walk up stairs instead of a ramp. You can step on the slants in the incline plane, but if it were a ramp. you would have to climb up.
This... is a shovel. The simple machine this shovel is, is a wedge. It makes work easier because it has a pointed end, and when it digs into the ground, it easily picks dirt back up. Or really anything it digs into, its easier to pick up.
This is a steering wheel which was found in my dads car! The simple machine this steering wheel is, is a wheel and axle. It makes work easier because its easy to turn to make the wheels in a car move the way you want them to. 
This right here is a screw. i found it in my dads tool box. The simple machine this screw is, is a screw. Screws make things easier because all you have to do is put them on a screw driver and drill them into something. It holds things together easily.

The simple machines in this picture are a wheel and axle, pulley, and lever.
Wheel and axle is used for things like steering wheels on cars.
Pulleys are used to lift things.
Levers are used for things like sea saws for little kids.
So, we watched a video and some important things are loads, fulcrums, and effort ad where they belong.
Loads is between effort and fulcrum.
Effort is on the bottom side of the lever.
Fulcrum is the bottom of the lever, what it sits on.

Fashion Show
What I did for the fashion show was make a neclace with my name on it. It was inspired by neclaces "rappers" wear, actually. The simple machines in this neclace are wedges and screws. The neclace is useful because it can be a new fashion statement. You might find screws in things like washers, toasters, ex. You can find wedges in things like computers, printers, ex.
